800 Watt Front End for Datacom & Storage
Applications
Tectrol introduces their new high-density / high-efficiency
front end power supply modules designed for Datacom and
Storage. The TFE800 Series delivers 800 watts in only 10 x
3.3 x 1.6” package with >90% efficiency.
The TFE-800-48 front-end power supply modules deliver 48 VDC
@ 16.67A in 1U or 2U orientation that is only 10” in depth,
ideal for mid-plane system architectures. The power modules
feature an I2C digital interface; Universal AC Input with
Active PFC; Auxiliary 3.3VSB @ 1.0A; Hot-Swap Capability;
Droop or Single Wire Current Share; Remote on/off; Remote
Sense; and Front Panel LED Indicators. All units are RoHS
6/6 Compliant and safety qualified for cTUVus EN60950-1 and
CE Mark (LVD) with reliability >500Khrs (Telecordia SR332 ;
40°C; Full Load). The mating TCPR-1521 power shelf
accommodates up to four TFE-800-48 modules and is configured
as a dual “A” & “B” channel configuration for both
redundancy and output power options.
Evaluation quantities are on-hand with production deliveries
of stock to 16 weeks. Modules are priced at $170 in OEM
